1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, mix together 1 cup of flour, softened butter, ¼ cup of sugar, and salt until crumbly. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
3. Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden.
4. Meanwhile, whisk together the eggs, 1 cup of sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, baking powder, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth. Pour over the baked crust.
5. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set. Let cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar and cutting into bars.
